Unleash your creativity and showcase your innovative use of Google for Education tools by creating a short video using Google Vids.
You can make the video on your own, or team up with other colleagues and use Vids' amazing collaboration options.
Your video should be made with Vids, be no longer than 2 minutes and relate to one of the following themes:
Google Product PowerUps
Share a valuable tip, trick, idea, or clever suggestion for using any Google Tool.
Google for Education Spotlight
Showcase creative ideas showing how you use Google for Education tools in your teaching and learning environment.
AI for Learning
Demonstrate innovative ways you've been using AI to enhance learning experiences or improve your productivity
Creative Teaching Insights
Highlight an innovative or engaging teaching practice you've implemented this year.
Platform: All videos need to be created using Google Vids. They can be any video format you like - screencasts, motion videos, animations, it's up to you, as long as it's edited with Vids. If you have access to the AI component you're welcome to use it, but no problem if you don't.
Length: Your video should be as long as they need to be, but no longer. And definitely no longer than 2 minutes.
Content: Videos should aim to be creative, engaging, fun, and informative, aligning with one of the themes above. If you include other people in them make sure you get their permission.
Final video: Export your video as an MP4 file. (File > Download as MP4)
Be sure to submit your video by the following due dates, depending on which energiser you're attending.
Auckland - 20 September
Sydney - 10 October
Melbourne - TBC
Awesome prizes will be awarded for the most interesting and creative videos! So, get those creative juices flowing and start on your video today!
Your finished MP4 video should be uploaded to YouTube (as either unlisted or public) or shared via Google Drive (as anyone with the link can view). YouTube is preferred. Please don't submit the Vids working file you edited, only the finished, exported MP4.
Once uploaded, please submit your finished video using this form.

Q: Can I collaborate with others to make the video?
A: Absolutely! Just include everyone's names when you submit it.
Q: Can my students be involved?
A: Sure! But the final video may be seen by others, so the usual rules apply about student safety, getting permission, etc, etc.
Q: Who owns the final video?
A: You do. Always.
